#LSA18: Google My Business – New Features Preview

Over the last few months, Google My Business has introduced various new ways for businesses to stand out on Google and connect with their customers. It’s now easy to create and share content on Search and Maps by creating Posts that show up when people find your business. You can also post frequently asked questions and answers, or answer your customers’ questions on your listing, using Q&A. And by activating Messaging, or adding a Booking button to your Google listing, local businesses can turn leads into customers.

Our primary goal is for our product to be simple and intuitive for small businesses, but the reality is that many businesses often don’t have the time or expertise and rely on a 3rd party to help manage their listing. A huge part of making sure these businesses succeed is making sure that agencies and partners in the ecosystem have the tools to thrive.

Today, at the Local Search Association’s LSA18 Conference in Chicago, we are announcing a few key investments in our agency and partner space: continued investment in our API tools, a new Google My Business agency dashboard, and the launch of a partner program to recognize our key partners.
