E61 Explores How AI Will Transform Rep Management

In E61 of Localogy’s This Week in Local podcast, co-hosts Mike Boland and Charles Laughlin talk about another use of AI. And this one has game-changing potential in the Localogy-verse.

In this case, the application happens to be reputation monitoring. The company that elevated this into something worth discussing is Chatmeter.

So what Chatmeter has done is to begin using AI to enable multi-location brands to see the early warning signs of a potentially business-killing problem. These range from food poisoning to employee safety issues.

The analysts did agree that applying AI to perform predictive analysis to keep multilocation brands out of trouble is a positive (and perhaps inevitable) use of AI that passes the “AI Al Dente test”. This is a test the analysts often reference on the pod that involves measuring the practical value of an AI application.
