GoDaddy, Yelp, Yahoo, Google, YP, Closely to Speak at LSA’s Digital Boot Camp in LA (March 4, 2015)
LSA Insider: “As an industry we talk a lot about small business owners but we rarely talk to them directly. For this reason, on April 19, in advance of the 2015 Local Search Association Conference in LA, we’re teaming up with GoDaddy, Yelp, Yahoo, Google, YP, Closely and others to host a one day Digital Boot Camp for LA area business owners. This educational summit will provide SMB attendees with practical digital marketing advice from a range of experts. It will also be a great opportunity to directly interact with them — to hear their concerns, interests and marketing needs unmediated.”

YP Launches New Local Search Marketplace For National Advertisers (March 4, 2015)
Search Engine Land: “Once dismissed as the exclusive concern of small businesses, brands and national advertisers are recognizing the importance of location data and local search. Often, however, they have trouble operationalizing local SEO and other tactics. YP has built a new PPC platform to appeal to these national-locals called ‘ypSearch Marketplace.’ It’s a paid-search, bidded marketplace that taps into company’s 80 million monthly users on the PC and mobile. It’s also the infrastructure behind last week’s ‘one-stop shop’ PPC offering for small businesses. The new ypSearch Marketplace allows marketers to import or modify current campaigns and run them on the YP network.”

AT&T Drive Connected Car Platform Adds Urgent.ly (March 2, 2015)
Urgent.ly Announcement: “Today AT&T announced that Urgent.ly will be the in-dash roadside assistance app for AT&T’s Drive connected car platform. The announcement comes as AT&T expands its industry leading connected car offerings, and Urgent.ly looks to reach customers wherever they may need us. Urgent.ly’s Connected Car Roadside Assistance Application will be integrated into AT&T’s Drive platform, giving consumers a one-tap, in-dash button to request immediate roadside assistance when they need a tow, tire change or fuel delivery. Urgent.ly’s app quickly locates the nearest, best-equipped service vehicle and immediately dispatches it to the consumer’s location.”

BuzzBoard Inc. Releases BuzzBoard 3.0 (March 2, 2015)
