Precisely Uplevels its Data Integrity Suite

Location intelligence and data management platform Precisely today announced a few upgrades and enhancements to its Data Integrity Suite. The goal is to automate and advance data quality for Precisely’s enterprise customers, which naturally includes a fair dose of AI for automated intelligence.

Before going further, let’s contextualize this news. What is Precisely, and what is its Data Integrity Suite? Starting with the first question, precisely specializes in data management and integrity. Given the reams of data that orbit any enterprise, it helps process and extract insights in secure ways.

Precisely is particularly relevant for the Localogyverse for its work in location intelligence. As Insider readers know, this is the art of ingesting and processing location data signals to make more informed marketing decisions. That includes people (devices), things (store locations), and how they intersect.

Precisely advanced its location intelligence play in 2022 when it acquired long-standing segment leader, Place IQ. Since then, location data has been a growing component of its platform, which has not only expanded its market opportunity but advanced its data security capabilities (more on those in a bit).

Precisely Announces Location Intelligence Double Shot

No-Code & Natural-Language

That brings us back to this week’s announcement. Precisely’s updates to its Data Integrity Suite are all about infusing AI to make it streamlined and effective. It includes AI agent functions for enterprise end-users to do things like find the data they need in no-code ways – such as natural language prompts.

Altogether, the latest list of feature upgrades includes:

– Natural language interfaces: Data quality tasks described in plain language are automatically converted by AI into custom code, making advanced data quality accessible to both technical and business users.

– AI-powered rule and description generation: Data quality rules and descriptions created from natural language prompts reduce manual complexity and save time.

– AI-generated sample data: Data produced by AI for testing purposes helps to validate logic, accelerate deployment, and increase confidence in results.

– LLM integration in pipelines: Large language models (LLMs) integrated directly into transformation pipelines, with support for “bring your own LLMs,” enables more intelligent automation while maximizing flexibility.

Widest Net

Stepping back, two macro factors overlay these updates: trust and versatility. Starting with trust, Precicely’s DNA is privacy-first. You can’t survive in the location intelligence game without ample data security protocols. So Precisely brings that data security rigor and best practices to its AI dealings.

This is a critical component in early stages of AI’s adoption curve because the technology inherently has some trust issues. Not only is it a new and emerging tech – which always means some trust issues – but AI incites additional layers of public mistrust due to the justifiable fears that continue to surround it.

This was evident in our recent SMB survey. Many are excited about and adoptive of AI… but to a point. And that point is usually AI’s integration with high-stakes functions such as payroll, taxes, or anything sensitive. Precisely addresses these concerns through its reputation and capabilities with data security.

It also addresses trust issues with variable levels of integration… which brings us to the versatility point. Precisely offers a sliding scale of AI automation and oversight. This is a key component of AI deployments today, as there’s a range of demand and aptitude. So it’s all about casting the widest net.
