E76: Moving to the Food with Thryv CEO Joe Walsh

In E76, we share one of the key moments from Localogy’s April L24 conference in Arlington, Texas. On the morning of the conference’s second day, I sat down with Thryv Chairman and CEO Joe Walsh to discuss leadership and managing through change. We share that conversation in this episode.

Our episode title refers to a moment in the interview when Walsh recalls talking to Thryv (then Dex Media) employees about the need to pivot from Yellow Pages to SaaS. Seeing a decade of small business SaaS adoption ahead of them, Walsh, referencing a famous Sam Kinison bit, told the audience that it was critical that they “move to the food.”
