Scorpion Becomes ServiceTitan Preferred Digital Marketing Partner

Scorpion Becomes ServiceTitan Preferred Digital Marketing Partner

The local digital marketing platform Scorpion has secured its place as the preferred digital marketing partner for ServiceTitan. In turn, ServiceTitan becomes Scorpion’s preferred software partner for home services.

ServiceTitan is a cloud-based software platform that helps trade professionals with everything from running their back office to handling customer service.

Scorpion claims the relationship will deliver a range of benefits to home services pros. These include better lead conversion, better return on ad spend, greater transparency on marketing spend, and better lead management.

Pivotal Moment

The parties position the new relationship as a pivotal event for the home services space.

“Scorpion’s partnership with ServiceTitan is a transformative moment for marketing in the trades that will improve how we help local businesses succeed,” Scorpion Chief Revenue Officer Jamie Adams told Localogy Insider.

“Integrating Scorpion’s digital marketing solutions with ServiceTitan’s software will improve digital advertising optimization, increase repeat business, and provide visibility into the marketing strategies and channels that are driving the most efficient customer acquisition. Ultimately, our collaboration will help residential services businesses generate more profitable revenue through their marketing.”

“ServiceTitan is on a mission to empower home services pros with the tools and solutions they need to reach the level of success they deserve,” said ServiceTitan Co-founder & CEO Ara Mahdessian.

“Through this new partnership with Scorpion, our customers will have the opportunity to gain even more visibility. And a deeper understanding of how their marketing strategies are performing, allowing them to supercharge their business with more leads, more booked jobs, and ultimately more customers.”

SaaS Titan

LA-based ServiceTitan is, well, a titan in the small business SaaS world, with a reported peak valuation of around $18 billion.

The company was officially founded in 2012 by engineers Mahdessian and Vahe Kuzoyan (the current president). However, the company’s origins date back further. The two founders reportedly met on a ski trip in 2004. Both had fathers who were contractors. The original ServiceTitan product was a software toolkit to make life easier for their contractor dads.

ServiceTitan was said to be preparing for an IPO in 2022. That was before the IPO market soured. In December, Reuters reported that the company is again readying for an IPO, possibly as early as the second quarter.

Reuters also reported that the company is working with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley on the possible public offering.
