E63 Explains a Big C-Suite Shift at Uberall

In E63 of Localogy’s This Week in Local podcast, we talk about an important recent personnel move in the Localogy-verse. And that involves Uberall Co-founder Florian Hubner’s decision to step aside as the company’s CEO.

Mike shares his takeaways from a recent conversation with Hubner about the move. The consensus was that the decision was driven primarily by a sense that it was time to bring in a professional CEO, in this case, Anthony Foy.

There is no evidence, at least not yet, that the move signals a major change for Uberall. Sometimes moves like this signal an intention to do something big, like going public or pursuing a major M&A event. While the analysts cannot rule out such outcomes, they could see no other signals pointing in this direction.
