To further assist advertisers of all sizes in reaching relevant audiences, Pinterest recently announced numerous changes and new additions to its growing suite of advertising tools. According to the company:
We’re always updating features at Pinterest to create a better experience for our advertisers. Over the past year, we’ve used your feedback to redesign our ad tools so businesses on Pinterest can define and size audiences, create ads and pull reports with ease.
The new features include the following:
- A “Pause Campaign” feature, which lets advertisers look over Pins prior to making them live
- New search bar and boards filter that allows for the selection of multiple pins for promotion at one time.
- Create new Pins and campaigns within the Ads Manager
- Test and optimize ads through duplicate campaigns and ad groups
- Placement options for browse and search strategies
- An audience insights tool that allows users to construct relevant target audiences
- Leverage ‘updated interests’ to reach a larger audience
- Monitor ad performance and make in-line optimizations using the reporting dashboard
- Use the analytics information to identify and promote top-performing organic Pins
- Track monthly viewers to measure influence
The tools are one of several recent enhancements made by the company. Just last month, Pinterest announced it was making its ‘Shop the Look’ pins available for SMBs. In addition to the new features, Pinterest will also update its ‘how-to’ articles within the Help Center to assist users with various concerns and questions.
