Facebook Releases New Creative Tools for Ads Manager App

In an effort to further accelerate mobile ad creation, Facebook announced the release of several new, unique tools for their Ads Manager app. The new additions will provide ease and efficiency for marketers and business owners on the go.

Originally introduced in 2015, the Ads Manager app was designed to help marketers manage ads from anywhere. Marketers can use the app to track ad performance, edit existing ads, edit ad budgets and schedules, receive push notifications and create ads.

The new tools on the app include:

Text Overlay & Text Policy Checker: This tool allows users to add text to an ad. Users can choose from various fonts and alter the text’s placement and opacity. The text policy checker alerts users when the amount of text within the ad surpasses or meets Facebook’s guidelines.

Image Cropper: This feature allows users to crop images for placement within ads and Page posts.

Templates: This tools provides users with customizable ad templates that feature stickers, text and shapes for more organized ad creation.

Shapes, Stickers & Logos: This new components allows users to customize their ads and highlight the unique aspects of a business by adding brand logos, stickers and shapes.

Color Filters: This tool allows users to customize the look of their ads via the addition of color filters.

Mobile advertising revenue was roughly 91% of Facebook’s overall ad revenue in the first quarter of 2018. That was up from 85% in 2017.
