USA Today Network Launches SMB Marketing Service LOCALiQ

Yesterday, Gannett’s USA TODAY NETWORK announced the release of their new marketing service for small businesses, LOCALiQ. The solution is a combination of website, SEO, listing management and social media services and tools.

Powering the new brand are the company’s recent acquisitions of ReachLocal (2016), location management software company SweetIQ (2017) and SaaS solution Wordstream (2018). While it isn’t clear how, the email announcement of the news also suggests that the new product will help SMBs reach “one of the largest local audiences of 120 million consumers” which appears to be a reference to Gannett’s reach.

The new brand is national in reach, for businesses big and small. The solutions are centered around “building an online presence, driving awareness and leads, growing an audience, managing leads and tracking tools that monitor marketing activity.”

Another component of the new brand is the LOCALiQ Grader, a business intelligence tool that helps small businesses contextualize their digital presence by offering a competitive analysis, digital score and recommendations. The analysis includes search, social and mobile.

According to the company, “LOCALiQ now combines these solutions with existing online and offline advertising offerings into one comprehensive, robust solution set that will help businesses effectively reach consumers across any platform.”
