Bloomreach Launches ChatGPT Integration for Marketers

Bloomreach ChatGPT Integration for Marketers

In a nod to the important role ChatGPT could soon play in the local marketer’s tech stack, the commerce experience cloud Bloomreach is expanding its AI capabilities and launching a bChatGPT integration. The integration, designed specifically for users of the Bloomreach Engagement product, will offer marketers a more streamlined way to generate content for emails, SMS, in-app, and push notifications.

Since its debut in November, ChatGPT has taken the world by storm. It’s already kicked off an online search war and changed expectations in education and a number of other professional fields. The natural language processing model from OpenAI has also shifted the way marketers feel about content generation and SEO more broadly.

By integrating natural language processing into its existing Engagement product, Bloomreach is removing the time-consuming nature of writing content variations for different channels, like SMS, email, or social media. The ChatGPT integration is designed to help marketers scale their campaigns, so they can reach more customer segments with personalized communications.

“Marketers create the strategy behind every campaign, then use ChatGPT to build the content and scale even faster,” said Bloomreach Engagement’s Michal Novovesky in an announcement “…Powered by the data and insights of Bloomreach Engagement, those campaigns will become more personalized, more effective, and ultimately — more impactful to the bottom line.”

The new feature also supports A/B testing, so marketers can use the Bloomreach ChatGPT integration to generate multiple variants for a subject line with unique tones of voice and language, then test their favorite suggestions.

Bloomreach isn’t the first digital marketing firm to take inspiration from ChatGPT. Earlier this month, Yext launched an AI-powered chatbot in closed beta, known as Yext Chat.

Novovesky sees the Bloomreach ChatGPT integration as a key component in the personalized, omnichannel marketing strategies his company now helps fuel.

Based in Mountain View, California, Bloomreach is part of the crowded field of commerce experience clouds currently vying for dominance. The company provides global brands like Albertsons, Bosch, Puma, and Marks & Spencer with products to drive personalization and digital commerce growth, including AI-driven search and merchandising headless CMS and marketing automation solutions.

Earlier this week, Bloomreach also released a mobile messaging tool that creates a new communication channel within a brand’s mobile app experience. The app inbox allows brands to access content in real time or return to messages at a later date when human agents are ready to interact.

As mobile apps become a more regular part of today’s customer journey—with worldwide app downloads growing annually since 2016—Bloomreach is hoping its new slate of features, including the new ChatGPT integration, will help global brands maximize the potential of their digital channels.

“The mobile app has become a prominent channel in every marketing strategy, and we wanted to ensure Bloomreach Engagement customers could maximize that channel to its fullest potential,” Novovesky said. “The app inbox will give marketers a non-intrusive way to deliver personalized content for every customer — even customers that have opted out of push notifications.”
