Local Search Association Appoints Bill Dinan as President

Association Sets Course for Next Stage of Growth With Seasoned Technology Executive Leader

TROY, MICH. FEBRUARY 13, 2019 — Today, the Local Search Association (LSA) announced that it has appointed veteran technology executive Bill Dinan as President. Former LSA President Neg Norton, who held the position for 15 years, recently retired.

Dinan previously served as Vice President and Head of Strategic Business Development for WEB.com, a leading global provider of Internet services and online marketing solutions for local businesses. Prior to that he held senior executive roles with companies such as AI-driven PPC platform Acquisio and Telmetrics, a leading call analytics solution. In addition to his multifaceted understanding of the local industry, Dinan has a deep knowledge of LSA, as he has been the LSA Chairman of the Board since 2013 and a member of the LSA Board of Directors for a decade.

“I’m honored to take a more direct role and lead the LSA as we work to meet the dynamic needs of the many companies and technologies powering local small businesses and franchises today,” said Dinan. “LSA has exciting things in store and I’m looking forward to previewing and discussing them with members at LSA19 later this month.”

Dinan will be introduced as LSA’s President at the upcoming annual conference, LSA19: The Art and Science of Localogy, taking place in Dana Point, California, Feb. 25-27.
